TACOMA, WA - The Western Indoor Soccer League (WISL) announced Friday the two-week warning of the 2024-25 season starting to the general public.  The news come a week after the master schedule was released showing a combination of men's and women's professional-amateur clubs spread around western Washington.

Saturday, November 2nd will feature Bellingham United on the road to open the season at South Sound FC at the Tacoma Soccer Center.  Bellingham came in 2nd place last year and a perennial powerhouse since 2014.  Everett City FC will be hosting the reigning WISL Men's Division Champions from 2023-24, Tacoma Stars at the Everett Soccer Arena.  Oly-Pen Force, one of the founding WISL clubs from 2014 will be hosting second year club Vancouver Lightning.  All kickoffs on November 2nd are slated for 7:00PM (PST).

"We're excited to see our 10th anniversary season kickoff in two weeks" said WISL Commissioner John Crouch.  "We believe this will be a competitive table and pumped to see fans back at indoor soccer centers across the state."

The WISL men's table is set to play 3 weekends in November before the Thanksgiving break and the WISL women's division will kick December 7th.  The Northwest Premier League which is home to outdoor and indoor semi-pro female soccer in the Pacific Northwest merged this summer with the WISL to provide a seasoned elite indoor soccer platform for women.  

"WISL surpassed 1000 subscribers this October and believe that this growth will positively impact the women's and men's indoor game environment" said WISL Communication Officer Ryan Perkins.  "We're excited to showcase the WISL women's league this winter in tandem with the men and building WISL into a gateway to pro soccer opportunities for everyone involved."

WISL hosts multiple markets including Vancouver, Tacoma, Snohomish, Bremerton, Everett and Bellingham and is currently vetting business sponsors to help fund the league and its operations.  Local, regional businesses are encouraged to reach out to WISL to explore partnership opportunities in lieu of sports advertising from October to March each year.
