2024-25 WISL Alignment Announced


Tacoma, WA - The Western Indoor Soccer League announced Tuesday that it would be fielding 7 teams in it's men's division and 4 teams in its women's for the inaugural year of merging NWPLi with WISL.  The reigning WISL champs, the Tacoma Stars Reserves will be back as well as the NWPLi champs the Snohomish Sky.

Bellingham United

Mascot:  Hammers

Home Field:  Bellingham SportsPlex

Color:  Black

Divisions:  WISLm and WISLw

History: Made 8/9 WISL Championships since league inception and have 4 WISL Cup Trophies for hardware.  Led by veteran Richard Henderson (Coach, Player and WISL Goal Record Holder).


Everett City FC

Mascot: N/A

Home Field:  Everett Soccer Arena

Color:  Green

Divisions: WISLm

History:  Everett City is in their third year of joining the WISL and always a serious playoff contender.  Several DI players venture over to the club for winter arena soccer and in 2023-24 made it to the quarterfinals.


Snohomish

Mascot:  Sky

Home Field:  Snohomish Soccer Dome

Color:  Pink

Divisions:  WISLm and WISLw

History:  The Sky is a new franchise but arena soccer has been a staple at the Soccer Dome.  The Snohomish Sky women's program were undefeated and went to Cincinnati for Nationals in the 2023-24 season.  The men are a physical, hungry group that look to make waves in 2024-25.


Oly-Pen (Olympic Peninsula)

Mascot:  Force

Home Field:  Bremerton Sports Center

Color:  Blue

Divisions:  WISLm and WISLw

History: One of the longest standing clubs in the WISL and NWPL.  The Force were mainstays in the playoffs and Championships in the early years of WISL 2015-17 and even sent players to the MASL.



Tacoma

Mascot(s):  Stars (Men) Galaxy (Women)

Colors:  Blue & Orange

Divisions:  WISLm and WISLw

History:  This professional arena soccer organization is a leader in the WISL ranks having ventured to the Cup Final 7 out of 9 years and have won 3 years in a row.  Stars (men) won 7-5 against Bellingham at the Showare Center in 2024.  The Galaxy (women) came out of the gates in 2022-23 as a leader in the women's indoor scene but came up short of the final in 2023-24 (3rd Place).


South Sound FC

Mascot:  N/A

Home Field:  Tacoma Soccer Center

Colors:  Red & Blue

Division:  WISLm

History:  This club has been around for over a decade having bounced around region for indoor and outdoor but is a powerhouse.  In 2023-24 the team fielded several league veterans and former pro arena players and made the quarterfinals of WISL.


Vancouver

Mascot:  Lightning

Home Field:  Clark County Indoor Sports

Colors:  Blue & Yellow

Division:  WISLm

History:  League newcomers in 2023-24 and looking to make a bigger splash in 2024-25.  Vancouver had a great following and even got on the local news in Portland/Vancouver area.  Anticipate a banner year from the Lightning from the deep south of Washington State.
