Mill Creek, Washington – The last time Snohomish County Football Club (SNOCO FC) met the

Oly-Pen Force was in November 2023. In a hard-fought game in Bremerton, Oly-Pen snuck

away with an 8-7 win. The Force entered the contest in seventh place with a 2-6 record. The

home-standing SNOCO FC hoped that the match-up would produce their first win.

In the second round of 2023-2024, Western Indoor Soccer play (WISL) SNOCO FC hosted Oly-

Pen at home on Saturday at Arena Sports in Mill Creek, Washington. Oly-Pen would best

SNOCO in this latest installment 12-0. Ismael DeLuna would lead all scoring with four goals,

including the game’s opening goal and his last coming in the final quarter. When all was said

and done, Oly-Pen scored two goals in the first, four in the second, and three in both the third

and fourth quarters. Defensively, the Force pitched a shutout, denying several scoring chances

from SNOCO.

“I think we’re struggling to find our identity, we’ve struggled to find our core group of individuals

after a big restructure this past year and a roster that contains 95% new players. So I think in all

that, we understand it has been a rebuilding year, but the work continues,” said Head Coach

and Club President Dorian Laird.

The game saw a large crowd as SNOCO FC offered free general admission to grow their brand

and reach Mill Creek and the surrounding areas. SNOCO FC will have a bye next week but will

return home on February 3rd for their home finale against the Tacoma Stars Reserves. Tickets

for that game are available at snocofc.com or check out their Instagram @snocofc.
