Vancouver Storm 7, Snohomish Sky 4

Vancouver Storm used timely scoring and a standout performance from Jared Armenta-Reyes to earn a 7–4 win over Snohomish Sky despite being outshot 30–22. Snohomish opened the scoring in the first period, but Vancouver answered with two quick goals from Armenta-Reyes to take a 2–1 lead after one. The Storm added to the margin in the second before Snohomish rallied in the third with back-to-back goals to tie the match at 3–3. Vancouver responded late in the period to regain the lead, then pulled away in the fourth with three more goals, including tallies from Pablo Barbosa and Carlos Bravo. Armenta-Reyes finished with four goals and an assist as Vancouver capitalized on its chances to close out the victory.

Bellingham United 7, South Sound FC 5
WISL Men’s | Jan. 10

Bellingham United built an early advantage and withstood a late rally to defeat South Sound FC 7–5 in a back-and-forth WISL men’s contest. United scored twice in the first period and added another in the second to take a 3–1 lead at the break, then extended the margin to 4–1 with a power-play goal in the third. South Sound surged in the fourth period, scoring four times and briefly tying the match at 5–5 behind power-play goals from Elijah Hurt and Nate Ford. Bellingham responded in the final minutes with two goals — including a decisive power-play tally and an insurance score — to seal the win. South Sound outshot United 18–15, highlighted by 11 shots in the opening period and six more in the fourth, but Bellingham capitalized on key chances and special teams play down the stretch.

Tacoma Stars Reserves 6, Oly-Pen Force 2

The Tacoma Stars Reserves controlled play from start to finish in a 6–2 victory over Oly-Pen Force. Tacoma jumped out to a 3–1 lead in the first period with goals from Rainier Schlekewey, Alan Barragan and AJ Nitzel to set the tone. After a scoreless second period, the Reserves extended the lead just one second into the third on a goal by Cris Lozano. Tacoma continued to apply pressure in the fourth, adding two more goals from Nitzel and Barragan before Oly-Pen scored late. The Stars Reserves outshot Oly-Pen Force 21–15 and showcased balanced scoring and defensive control in the convincing win.
