Bellingham United moved into second place with a convincing home win over Everett City FC. Kevin Flavin recorded a hat trick with three goals. Ivan Colin, Judah Straight, Isaac Grimes, James Salisbury and Richard Henderson also scored for Bellingham.
For Everett, now in fourth place, Samuel Tafolla, Adan Fernandez and Fernando Tavares each scored.
South Sound FC 6, Snohomish Sky 6
In a high-scoring affair, South Sound FC and Snohomish Sky played to a 6-6 draw. Derek Johnson scored twice for South Sound FC, while Jesus Flores, Andres Almao, Keegan Yorke and Nate Ford also found the net. Snohomish Sky’s goals came from Cody Duncan, Roberto Suchil, Ryan Peters, Anthony Henry, Cameron Mooring and Tyler Sharp.
After the tie, South Sound FC sits in fifth place, while Snohomish Sky is sixth.
Tacoma Stars Reserves 3, Vancouver Storm 2
In a low-scoring matchup, Tacoma Stars Reserves edged Vancouver Storm in a defensive battle. Tacoma scored first in the second period, and the teams traded goals until the final quarter, when Alan Barragan scored off a feed from Itamar Bastos for the game-winner.
With the victory, Tacoma remains atop the standings, while Vancouver is still searching for its first win. Holding the league’s top team to just three goals is a notable achievement for Vancouver.
