Bellingham United overwhelmed Oly-Pen Force with a 12–0 victory in WISL women’s play. Claire Potter opened the scoring early, and Bellingham’s offense surged in the second period, adding five more goals to build a commanding 6–0 lead by halftime. The Storm carried the momentum into the third, scoring four times, including a power-play goal from Emily Webster, before adding two more in the fourth to complete the shutout. Bellingham outshot Oly-Pen 30–11 and demonstrated depth in scoring, with contributions from Potter, Morgan Manalili, Harmony Smith, and Jayden Nguyen. Relentless pressure and opportunistic finishing fueled the dominant win.

Snohomish Sky 7, Tacoma Galaxy 4

WISL Women’s | Jan. 10

Snohomish Sky pulled away late to defeat Tacoma Galaxy 7–4 in a competitive WISL women’s matchup. Tacoma struck first with a goal from Josie Ash, but Julianna Barker evened the score for Snohomish in the opening period. The teams traded goals in the second and third periods, with Peyton Chick keeping Tacoma in contention while Chloe Smith and Alicia Barker provided key scoring for Snohomish. In the fourth period, the Sky pulled away with two late goals from Barker and Smith to secure the 7–4 victory. Both teams were closely matched on the scoreboard throughout, but Snohomish’s timely finishing and ability to respond to Tacoma’s rallies made the difference in the final frame.
